This Sunday, we come to one of the most personal passages in Paul’s letter to the Philippians, chapter 3, verses 1 to 11.
Here, Paul opens his heart to us. He shares the story of how his life was completely turned upside down, not by failure, but by success. Everything he once counted as valuable, everything that gave him identity and confidence, he now considers loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. What could cause such a radical re-evaluation?
At the heart of this passage is the discovery that life in its fullness is not something we build for ourselves, but a gift we receive by being drawn into the life of Christ.
Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to count all things as loss for the sake of Christ, and to discover that in losing, we gain everything.
Blessings,
Matt
