On Sunday we will continue the sermon series on “Open Hands”. If you didn’t hear Pastor Mark’s powerful sermon last Sunday, I encourage you to go to harrisonsquarepc.org and listen to it.

I will talk about stewarding our talents. I will comment on what it means to steward something. My sermon title is: “You Are an Important Member of the Team!”. The scripture will be I Corinthians 12:4-27 (a modified version of NLT). Among other things it says that each of us is given abilities by the Holy Spirit. What abilities, talents, or gifts has the Spirit given you? How are you using them to further the kingdom of God? What is your sense of the Holy Spirit in you? According to the passage, for our congregation to fulfill our entire God given mission, each of us is to steward the abilities the Spirit has given to each of us.
