My sermon title for this coming Sunday is “The Leaven of Praus” and will be based on “Blessed are the praus, for they will inherit the earth.” I will focus on praus, the Greek word that is usually translated as “meek”, “gentle”, or “humble” because they don’t fully reflect what Jesus said. I will talk about what praus means, how we acquire it, and how we can learn to live it. It is desperately needed in our society because the opposite of it is lived in us and around us daily.
